Amanda Felder, Operations Manager

Amanda is our team’s native Charlestonian! After spending two years studying International Relations in Washington, D.C., she returned to her hometown with a passion for preserving the places and stories that make the Lowcountry unique. She earned degrees in Historic Preservation and Political Science from the College of Charleston, further deepening her advocacy of the city’s rich history, which she poured into local non-profits for almost 2 decades.

Amanda lives West of the Ashley River with her husband and their three sons. She embraces Charleston’s outdoor lifestyle year-round, whether running along the West Ashley Greenway and Cooper River Bridge or enjoying her favorite local beaches—Folly, Edisto, and Sullivan’s Island. A lifelong history enthusiast, Amanda enjoys documentaries, genealogical research, and non-fiction literature which make her a vault of “nickel knowledge.”

She is always ready to share fascinating facts and form connections. Outgoing and energetic, Amanda thrives on engaging with others and deeply values diversity and inclusion. Amanda is dedicated to preserving Charleston’s rich and complex history while enthusiastically invested in its future!
